The Elevation MTR FDX is our Mountain Technical Rifle — a purpose-built hybrid designed to bridge the gap between a precision tactical rifle and a lightweight hunting platform. Equally at home on the range or deep in the field, the MTR FDX was engineered for shooters who demand adaptability, precision, and lightweight performance in one refined system.

Built around our Splinter camouflage finish and carbon fiber MTR stock, the rifle features a slightly raised comb and near-vertical grip designed to promote a more natural shooting position and improved control behind the rifle. The Elevation MTR FDX comes equipped with a TriggerTech trigger, Hawkins Precision M5 Hunter bottom metal, a 3-round Hunter magazine, and the Salmon River Solutions SRS Combo Rail for seamless compatibility with both ARCA and Picatinny mounting systems.

At the heart of the rifle is our Sendero contour carbon fiber barrel featuring PROOF PXT technology - a complete rethinking of conventional rifling geometry and twist progression. By dramatically reducing rifling lead angle and smoothing projectile engagement into the bore, PXT reduces engraving force, minimizes throat erosion, and creates less felt torque during firing for improved recoil control and the ability to stay on target more effectively.

The result is a barrel system capable of handling higher pressure ammunition while delivering measurable improvements in consistency and accuracy. In controlled testing, PXT barrels have demonstrated 30–100% increases in barrel life, creating a rifle platform engineered for long-term performance both on the range and in demanding mountain environments.
